D'ANN JACABAN

Kindergarten Teacher

D'Ann Jacaban graduated from Pacific Union College with a B.A. in liberal arts with a teaching certificate in elementary education, and has junior academy endorsements in English, general science, history and religion. She has been a teacher for over 23 years and has taught at four adventist elementary schools.

D'Ann's favorite part about being a kindergarten teacher is getting to experience the curiosity and enthusiasm that comes with this age. She loves helping them build a strong base in math and reading, and she enjoys teaching them how to be good students and good friends. Her goal is help them have a love for school and learning. 

In her free time d'Ann loves be physically active, reading, traveling and being with her family. Her husband, Ron Jacaban, is the principal of Puget Sound Adventist Academy, and her son Ryan, attends PSAA. She loves to explore with her family and they are currently in the process of traveling to every state. They are currently on number 48 with Florida, Alaska and Hawaii still to come.
