Greetings Parents and Students,

I hope summer vacation gave your family fun, exploration and relaxation to renew and prepare you for another school year.  I am very excited that we will be restoring an increased amount opportunity for our students this school year.  This includes hot lunch, field trips, athletics, and after school clubs.

One thing that will remain the same, unfortunately, is our state mandate to wear clothe masks.  At this point, we will be able to do away with the morning health screening and reduce our distancing in the classrooms.  In place of health screening, families will be asked to self-screen.  If you experience symptoms consistent with COVID-19, we ask that you do not come to school.

Important dates to help you plan:

Monday, August 23    Back to School Bash

Our Back to School Bash will look a bit different this year.  The parent assembly and classroom presentations will be virtual.  We will make the YouTube links available on Friday, August 20.  On Monday, August 23, we will hold an open house from 3:30pm to 7:30pm. This will be a great time to drop off supplies, ask the teacher or principal questions, and adjust your student’s desk to the optimal level.

Tuesday, August 24   First Day of School

The school day begins at 8:10am Monday through Friday.  Classrooms open at 8am.  Dismissal is at 3:15pm Monday-Thursday and 1:45pm on Friday.

We have created this “Back to School Toolbox” to assist returning and new students in preparation for the new school year.  If you have questions or concerns that have not been addressed with these resources, please do not hesitate to contact us, 425-822-7554.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
